Tips and Care

1. Built for Outdoors

Your Green Hive is made to live outside — no need to move it indoors. It can handle the weather while keeping your plants cozy and safe.

2. Let It Breathe

While the design allows natural airflow, on very hot days, we recommend lifting the lid to help your plants stay cool and happy.

3. Keep It Clean

  • Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or spills.
  • Avoid soaking with water or using harsh chemicals — the wood is protected, but gentle care goes a long way.

4. Age Gracefully

Like all beautiful things in life, your Green Hive will age over time — but that’s part of its charm.

Your Green Hive designed to be water proof but to keep it looking lovely for longer, we recommend placing a protective layer  before filling it with  soil

Tip:  You can use the plastic bags that comes with your soil and re-use it as a liner.

  • You want to be %100 plastic free? We recommend using beeswax wraps.Just bare in mind bee wax fabrics needs to be replace every year.
  • Add gravel or organic mulch for drainage.
